Peter Yates LL.B Head of Family Law Peter joined Poole Townsend almost 20 years ago and he is our expert solicitor in the complex and sensitive area of litigation and family law, where legal advice meets personal issues. Peter is a member of the Law Society’s Children’s Panel.		Martin Oates LL.B Responsible for Wills and Legal Estate Matters Martin has been with the Company since 1989 and he works closely with our tax planning team in the Financial services department to ensure that you get the best advice available. In the past year he has made some 400 Wills for clients and reclaimed over £100,000 on a case of overpaid Inheritance Tax.
Derek Pearce Cert PFS, Cert CII(MP), MNAEA Financial Services Manager Derek joined us in 1996 and he and his team offer a full range of expert advice and information without being tied to any of the financial product suppliers or insurance companies. The team are members of Solicitors for Independent Financial Advice (SIFA) and have over 80 years of experience between them.		Lindsey Bayles Legal Adviser for Personal Injury Claims Lindsey is a key member of our team in this important area of legal advice and she has been a Partner since 1992. For the last 15 years she has had a particular interest in asbestos-related disease claims and is renowned in legal circles for her work with thousands of victims of asbestos-related respiratory diseases.
Susan Pyne Company and Commercial Law Specialist Susan joined Poole Townsend in 1996 and has a growing list of commercial clients who look to her for advice on business law, property transactions and new ventures. She is also responsible for the firm’s quality standard systems.		Joanne Copeland LL.B Legal Adviser for Personal Injury Claims Joanne became a partner in 2001 and deals with claims ranging from road traffic accidents and criminal injury compensation through to accidents at work and complex industrial injury claims and she is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.
Trystan Roberts LL.B Criminal Lawyer and Adviser on Criminal Proceedings Trystan qualified as a solicitor in 1995 and became a Partner in the firm in 2001. He is committed to criminal defence work and is a member of the Law Society Police Station and Court Duty Solicitor Panel.		David Corrie FCIB MNAEA Head of Estate Agency and Property Sales David leads our network of estate agency branches and property specialists across South Cumbria and Furness. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and a member of the National Association of Estate Agents and has a particular interest in planning and feasibility studies for new property developments.
